Drawing Challenge: Rhythm

Enjoy their rhythm.

Music plays loudly in the studio once my painting rhythm is flowing. Yesterday Joe Cocker, Leonard Cohen and Arabic Groove pounded out their beat while the paint danced off the brushes. The colour palette is more in rhythm with the coming season than the rainy grey days outside.

Our host this week is the multi-talented and highly energetic Veronica. Bee bop over to her blog to see other artist's works. Happy week to you. xo

  1. Different music inspires different art, don't you find?

  2. Music is for me so very much a part of the energy channel for my own creative processes. It creates a mood, a philosophy, a politic of freedom, a river of emotions, a pool of colours, a rhythm and a meter for the visualization to unfold from the womb of mind. I love your visions from the creative oceans of your mind and studio. :)

  4. Ha! Those are some great rhythms and absolutely sure to beat these dreary winter days. And so are the roses. Love the bright colours and repetitive images. You bring a little summer rhythm into our world. Big hugs. :D

I am still struggling to listen to music since my concussion, but at least I can create - hoping listening to music will come someday. You asked me if it was cold here.... for up here - no - for your part of the country yah.
