Life on Vancouver Island includes protests to save our old growth forests.

Veronica Roth, who also spends time in the forests of BC, is this week's Drawing Challenge host. Click here to get to Veronica's blog to view forests from artists from around the world.

Have a great week everyone.

  2. Oh my gosh, I can't remember when I've hiked out into the Carmanah, but it must be a good 15 years. Time to head over that way again I think. But I also love Cathedral Groves. That's a beautiful place to be. I also love your painting Carole. Have to tell you the silliest story. So, yesterday C and I were watching HGTV while folding laundry, and there was a show on called House of Bryan on the Rocks and they imported a Florida artist to paint a huge mural. So she painted three and showed them, and Chloe and I looked at each other with absolute horror because they were so very ghastly! I can't help but think how beautiful yours would be on a huge scale, on the wall of that forest house. But then, that just proves my theory that if we all liked the same thing, we'd be standing in a very long queue. :D
